Photography Assignments
1.) What number F stop does a large aperture hole have?
The Number F stop that a large aperture hole would have is F 16, F 22, or F 32.
2.) What Type of Aperture hole does F 5.6 have?
The type of aperture hole an F 5.6 has is a medium aperture size hole.
3.) F in F-Stop also refers to…?
The F in F-Stop also refers to Focal.
4.) 4. If you want to change the aperture to let in the least amount of light what would you set the aperture at?
If you would want to let in the least amount of light in you would set the aperture to a higher number such as F 32.
5.) If you want to change the aperture to let in the most amount of light, what would you set the aperture at?
If you would want to let the most amount of light in from your aperture you would set the aperture to a low number such as F 1.4.
6.) The F-stop also determines the “depth of field” or how much depth of the picture will be in focus.Using the picture in the note explain how much of an image will be in focus if you use F 32?
If you set your aperture to F 32 most of the picture will be focused. It will all be focused because the higher F number, means the wider depth of field, which means more of the picture will be focused.
7.) How much of the image will be in focus if you use the aperture of F 1.4?
Only a little bit of the image will be in focus if you use the aperture F 1.4 because since you used a lower number of F, the thinner the depth of field which means only one or two thing will be focused, while the rest of the image will be blurry.
8.) If you want to adjust the shutter speed to capture or freeze something in motion, what would you set the shutter speed at?
If you wanted to adjust the shutter speed to capture or freeze something in motion, you would set the shutter speed to 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 because the faster the shutter speed the shorter the time the image sensor is exposed to light which will freeze movement.
9.) If you want adjust the shutter speed to create an image blur, what might you set the shutter speed at?
If you wanted the shutter speed to create an image blur, you would set the shutter speed to 30, 15 or 8, because the lower the shutter speed the longer the time the image sensor is exposed to light causing a blur.
10) .If you have your shutter speed at 1/25 you might consider using a tripod. Why is this?
If your shutter is speed is set to 1/25, you might use a tripod because the camera would move really fast, and since you would be holding it you would move so you would cause the picture to go blurry, so the tripod keeps the camera steady and keeps the picture very focused.
